Heavy Duty Mechanic for Nuna Group

Elevate your career with Nuna Group as a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic. This role involves repairing and maintaining heavy mining equipment while enjoying a flexible rotating schedule. Join a leading company in heavy civil construction and mining. This Journeyperson position requires a minimum of 2 years' experience with industrial equipment and strong mechanical skills. You'll take part in safety meetings, mentor apprentices, and collaborate with site supervisors for optimal equipment performance. Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair heavy mobile equipment for mining operations
• Mentor apprentices and support their development
• Document daily equipment performance and maintenance
• Assist in continuous improvement of maintenance processes
• Attend weekly safety meetings and ensure compliance Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
• Minimum 2 years' experience in mining and earthworks
• Strong skills in hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and eligibility to work in Canada Contribute to Nuna's mission as you ensure equipment reliability and safety in remote locations.
