Job Duties:
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
- Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Caring and Compassionate—you enjoy helping others
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
- Healthcare Aide Certificate or Equivalent
- 2+years as a Certified Healthcare Aide or similar role
- Valid Work Permit, PR, or Canadian Citizen
- TB Test (within 24 months)
- Current First Aid with CPR
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (with last 12 months)
- Driver's License with a Reliable Mode of Transportation
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, long-term care, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance a Plus!
