Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning

Overview ADP is hiring a Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning to partner closely with leaders across ADP Canada to define, communicate, and execute the business strategy. The role involves leading complex strategy processes, conducting research, developing plans, and presenting insights to support executive decision‑making.

Responsibilities

Be the trusted strategy advisor for business segments at ADP Canada.

Run assigned initiatives or projects, including problem‑solving and building business plans with financial modeling.

Manage strategy processes, such as the annual strategy planning cycle and board meetings.

Partner with peers in matrixed teams across locations to develop strategies for Canadian business units.

Partner with business unit leaders on additional projects, including preparation for partner meetings and executive presentations.

Develop points of view on key strategy topics, emerging trends, and focus areas through research.

Explore new business opportunities and incubate new ideas aligned with business strategies.

Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations that articulate strategic options for executive decision‑making.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in strategy roles, with 5+ years in management consulting or an in‑house strategy team.

MBA or master’s degree.

Proven experience in building business cases and financial modeling.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior leaders.

Strong content creation and business storytelling using PowerPoint.

Successful experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including C‑Suite.

Expertise in conducting competitive and customer research.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Strong experience collaborating with multiple functions/organizations.

Preferred Additional Experience

Experience with sales strategy, business development or knowledge of SaaS and go‑to‑market strategies.

Experience with data visualization tools such as BI and Tableau and translating data into actionable insights.

Benefits & Compensation Base salary range: CAD 128,900.00 – CAD 178,900.00 per year. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, or commissions.
