Accounting Technician
$55k - $65k per yearSt-Amour & Associates, Senc.
Work location: Montreal North, QC – On site Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 Position type: Permanent
Main responsibilities:
- Enter routine transactions into accounting software.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account follow-ups.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting entries.
- Record and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Verify supplier statements and manage payments.
- Participation to collection activities.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, managing emails, and answering phone calls.
- Prepare tax returns and income declarations.
- Prepare payroll documents.
- Carry out any other accounting-related tasks as required.
Terms and benefits:
- On-site, 40 hours per week (possibility to work in a 4-day week).
- Potential for discretionary bonus.
- Closed for 2 weeks in summer and 2 weeks during the holiday season (aligns with the construction industry’s vacation schedule).
