Working for a Member of Parliament / Travailler pour un(e) député(e)
Le Nouveau Parti Démocratique du Canada recherche un·e agent·e de communications pour un poste permanent. L’attaché·e de presse bilingue épaulera le chef et le caucus dans leurs responsabilités parlementaires en coordonnant les relations avec les médias, sous la supervision de la Directrice des communications.
Description du poste
- Assurer les fonctions d’attaché de presse auprès des député·es néo-démocrates
- Communiquer régulièrement avec les médias afin de susciter une couverture médiatique nationale et régionale visant à sensibiliser le public aux priorités du caucus
- Répondre aux demandes des médias
- Fournir un soutien médiatique aux député·es et à leur personnel
- Préparer les membres du caucus aux entrevues avec les médias et aux demandes de commentaires
- Rédiger des communiqués de presse, des avis et d’autres documents
- Veiller à ce que tous les messages destinés aux médias soient cohérents avec les objectifs stratégiques de communication
- Soutenir et aider à l'organisation de conférences de presse selon les besoins
- Effectuer un suivi et une analyse réguliers des médias sur les questions importantes pour le travail du parti et du caucus
- Fournir des comptes rendus réguliers au caucus sur la couverture médiatique
- Effectuer des déplacements selon les besoins
- Travailler en collaboration au sein d'une équipe pour faire avancer les objectifs du Nouveau Parti démocratique
- Autres tâches assignées
Qualifications
- Expérience démontrée en relations avec les médias, y compris la conception et la mise en œuvre de stratégies de communication
- Excellentes compétences en rédaction et en révision en français et en anglais
- Au moins cinq ans d'expérience auprès des médias québécois
- Capacité éprouvée à travailler en collaboration au sein d'une équipe créative
- Motivation autonome, capacité à gérer son temps et à organiser son travail de manière autodirigée
- Capacité à travailler sous pression et à respecter des échéances strictes.
- Disponibilité à travailler selon des horaires irréguliers et à voyager au besoin
- Excellentes compétences en communication interpersonnelle, en informatique et en organisation
- Connaissance de la politique canadienne et du système parlementaire
- Connaissance du Nouveau Parti démocratique, de ses politiques et de sa structure
- Bilinguisme requis
- Permis de conduire un atout
