Full Time Week Days Housekeeper / House Manager

Hours per week: Full-time, +/- 40 hours per week Schedule: Variable according to needs – may include weekends Compensation: Annual salary ranging $55, 000 to $65, 000 depending on experience and qualifications Start Date: July 2026 Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and detail‑oriented housekeeper to support the daily operations of a private high‑end residence in Westmount. The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, and committed to maintaining the home at exceptional standards, delivering a calm, refined, and welcoming environment comparable to a luxury hotel. This role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a service‑oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities: Housekeeping

• Maintain the residence in immaculate condition at all times
• Make beds and prepare bedrooms to hotel‑level standards
• Perform daily cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces)
• Conduct deep cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen on a weekly basis
• Clean and maintain appliances (fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, laundry machines)
• Organize closets, cupboards, and storage areas with precision
• Care for fine furnishings, fixtures, fabrics, finishes, and delicate surfaces
• Manage waste and recycling
• Maintain outdoor areas: terraces, front porch, patio furniture, BBQ area and garage
• Handle seasonal and deep‑cleaning projects as required

Laundry and Wardrobe care

• Daily Laundry: washing, drying, ironing, and folding
• Change bed linens weekly and maintain household textiles
• Assist with seasonal wardrobe rotation
• Ensure proper care of garments and household fabrics and handle minor repairs

Food and beverages

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pantry, fridge and freezer
• Monitor food supplies; discard expired items and notify when replenishment is required
• Prepare simple daily meals for the children and assist in the preparation of preparing family meals.
• Assist during gatherings or special occasions, including occasional evening or weekend support

Caregiving (10, 12 and 14 year-old children)

• Provide supervision and support to children as required
• Prepare light meals and snacks for the children
• Maintain a safe, nourishing and interactive environment for the children.
• Bring them back from school if needed
• Supervise the children at the pool when needed

Pet Care - Light care for a small dog (feeding and maintaining pet areas clean) Other - Other responsibilities related to the role might be added or asked depending on the needs of the family Professional expectations

• Follow established household procedures, schedules, and preferences
• Demonstrate absolute discretion and respect for privacy
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with principals and guests
• Provide “invisible service” — anticipating needs without intrusion

Requirements:

• Applicants must provide a CV and/or a brief written summary of relevant experience, including examples of independent responsibilities handled in previous roles
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in private residences or luxury hospitality, with demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously in a high‑standard environment.
• This position is not an entry‑level role and requires sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage responsibilities proactively
• Strong knowledge of high‑end housekeeping techniques and material care
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and integrity
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Availability to travel occasionally to Mont Tremblant (weekends, winter holidays and spring break)
• Excellent time management and dependability
• Physically able to perform housekeeping duties
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Background check, criminal check, credit check and Non-Disclosure Agreements will be required
• References check

Preferred qualifications (a plus, not a requirement)

• A valid Drivers licence with a vehicle is considered an asset
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Proficiency in English; French bilingualism is an asset
