CFL Development Officer - Fundraising Expert
Centre for Family Literacy
Make a meaningful impact in literacy with the Centre for Family Literacy as a Development Officer specializing in fundraising. Drive strategic initiatives and connect with donors. CFL is hiring a full-time Development Officer to lead their fundraising efforts, enhancing community literacy. The ideal candidate will craft effective strategies, manage donor engagements, and collaborate on grant writing—all aimed at facilitating deeper connections with supporters. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive fundraising initiatives aligned with CFL goals
- Communicate effectively with donors and partners
- Oversee grant research, writing, and compliance
- Collaborate on the creation of donor communications
- Report on fundraising progress to leadership and the Board
- 2+ years' experience in fundraising or development roles
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management
- Proficient in digital tools and systems for data management
- Experience in non-profit or literacy sectors is a plus
