We are currently looking for a Donor Relations & Development Officer at our Edmonton base in the Foundation department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Foundation's efforts to raise critical funds for mission operations.
• Driving strategic relations expansion in Alberta by meeting and exceeding activity targets (discovery calls, face‑to‑face meetings, submitted proposals and successful solicitations) as mutually agreed upon with the Director of Development.
• Identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gifts and sponsorships to the foundation which will include identifying new prospects as well as growing current donor relationships.
• Preparing and delivering high‑quality proposals, presentations and other communication materials to prospective donors and sponsors.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or fundraising, preferably in a development‑focused role.
• Post‑secondary degree in a related field is an asset.
• Demonstrated track record in soliciting major gifts from corporations, foundations, and individuals.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy.
