Responsibilities Identify the architecture orientations and development approaches for the choice and implementation of the technological solution;

• Supervise a team of developers and contribute to the development and maintenance of a strong technical team;
• Maintain high standards of development;
• Ensure the protection of our intellectual property;
• Write recommendations in order to contribute to the improvement and evolution of our application;
• Plan security while taking into account the growth phases;
• Assist and propose tools to improve and automate the sales system;
• Continuously analyze data to optimize our development;
• As one of our leaders, be involved in the strategic thinking and the success of the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize technology initiatives
• Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all technology systems and data
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in technology processes and practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience as a Director of Technology or similar leadership role, including managing a small but agile team
• Strong knowledge of PHP, REACT, MySQL and other databases, Amazon AWS, Azur
• Familiarity with product management concepts and comfortable contributing to overall product vision
• Know how to implement Lean & Agile methodologies
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Bilingual English and French considered an asset
• Previous start-up experience considered an asset
