Job Summary
Habibi's Mediterranean Foods is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and organized Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Forklift operation and warehouse experience are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify products against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Complete receiving and shipping paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery and shipment.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Wrap and secure skids/pallets for safe storage and transportation.
- Organize inventory and ensure products are stored properly.
- Maintain accurate records of received and shipped products.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized at all times.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and food handling standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Forklift Operator Licence/Certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and manual/electric pallet jacks.
- Experience with receiving, shipping, order picking, and packing.
- Ability to complete shipping and receiving forms accurately.
- Experience wrapping skids/pallets and preparing freight shipments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
