Distribution Head for Chinese Market

Become Gopher's Distribution Head, driving channel development aimed at Canada’s Chinese HNW clientele. You'll work to forge valuable partnerships and expand offerings in Vancouver and Toronto. In this pivotal role, you will establish the channel ecosystem, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations while promoting alternative asset products. Your responsibility includes building brand recognition in the Chinese financial community and managing local team growth, alongside P&L oversight. You will regularly present business reports to headquarters. Key Responsibilities:
- Create a comprehensive channel framework in Canada
- Engage Chinese HNW clients and resources
- Ensure compliance with CIRO/OSC/AML standards
- Build brand through family office events
- Scale local teams to support growth
- 12+ years in relevant financial sectors
- Proficient in English and Mandarin
- Valid Canadian financial license necessary
- Experience with alternative investment distribution is a plus
- Must possess entrepreneurial spirit for initiatives
