Job Title: Go-to-Market Lead
Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada – Zen Educate Canada Ltd., Suite 200, 1575 West Georgia Street
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 a year
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal and external communication and promotional strategies to expand Zen Educate's market footprint.
- Partner with the Chief of Staff and Product team to develop positioning, sales enablement, and marketing materials for current app features and service launches.
- Contribute to Zen Educate's strategic expansion into large, multi‑jurisdiction charter networks.
- Identify key targets, develop tailored engagement approaches, and inform go‑to‑market strategy for high‑priority segments.
- Review market data and customer feedback to develop recommendations regarding new service offerings.
- Lead the development of sales enablement materials, serve as the voice of marketing and sales in the creation of case studies, one‑pagers, conference collateral, and other customer‑facing assets that support pipeline generation and conversion across Zen Educate's service lines.
- Design and maintain sales training and knowledge management systems to drive the continued upskilling of the sales team, building core sales competencies and deep product knowledge across Zen Educate's platform, talent solutions, and evolving service offerings.
- Architect cross‑functional collaboration frameworks between Sales, School Success, and Educator Recruitment teams, including standardized communication flows, status update protocols, and shared operating models to improve efficiency and partner outcomes.
- Mentor and coach junior sales representatives, providing structured guidance to build fluency in Zen Educate's value proposition and proficiency in selling across its service lines, with a particular focus on accelerating ramp time and long‑term rep development.
- Manage an active portfolio of charter school networks as an individual contributor, executing outbound outreach and relationship development with the goal of converting prospects into signed Zen Educate partners.
Requirements
- 12 years of sales experience in a cross‑border and/or global sales environment.
- Prior work experience in education or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience enabling credible, peer‑level dialogue with and securing buy‑in from clients and stakeholders.
- Understanding of the K‑12 procurement cycle, budget timelines, and the decision‑making structures unique to public education.
- Entrepreneurial background or demonstrated experience thriving in a fast‑paced, high‑agency startup environment, with the ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity, rapid growth, and evolving priorities.
