Job Description
Protrans Personnel Services is currently hiring experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators for a full-time, long-term opportunity in Concord, ON .
This role is in a fast-paced transportation and logistics cross dock environment . Candidates must have strong counterbalance forklift experience , previous cross dock experience , and be comfortable working in a cooler/refrigerated warehouse section .
This is a great opportunity for reliable forklift operators looking for stable Monday to Friday work with potential for permanent hire.
Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trailers in a cross dock environment
- Move, stage, and organize freight
- Build and prepare loads for shipping
- Work in a cooler/refrigerated section as required
- Assist with general dock and warehouse duties when needed
- Lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of counterbalance forklift experience
- Previous cross dock experience required
- Valid forklift certification required
- Comfortable working in a cooler/refrigerated environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
- Safety shoes required
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Able to work Monday to Friday on the assigned shift
- Criminal record search may be required
