Education and Employment Services Manager
YMCA of Southern Interior BC
Lead impactful programs at the YMCA of Southern Interior BC as the Education and Employment Services Manager. Support the growth and development of youth and families in a fulfilling community role. This managerial position focuses on providing strategic leadership in employment and life/school-based services within the Central Okanagan. You will ensure compliance with all relevant laws and YMCA protocols while monitoring programs and maintaining crucial stakeholder relationships. You'll coach staff to achieve excellence and enhance service delivery across initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver employment and education programs
- Ensure compliance with Federal/Provincial regulations and YMCA policies
- Track program outcomes and submit evaluation reports
- Manage program budgets and resource allocation
- Foster relationships with community partners and stakeholders
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
- Five years of experience with employment programs
- Direct management experience in community settings
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in service delivery
