Sales Director

As Sales Director , you hold a strategic position within our establishment. Reporting to the General Manager, you are responsible for leading and energizing our sales team to ensure the performance of our hotels in terms of revenue and occupancy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in the hospitality industry, with a progressive career and exceptional performance.

Our mission is to meet the needs of visitors from around the world looking for downtown hotels for short or long stays. We offer two hotels that provide services in a warm atmosphere reminiscent of home, appealing to both business and leisure travelers.

• Lead the work of the sales department team;

• Develop and maintain business opportunities through actions and development activities.

• Actively participate in the processing of contracts for sales inquiries and groups;

• Manage the operational aspects of the sales cycle (proposals, contracts, correspondence);

• Actively contribute to the revenue management process;

• Ensure customer satisfaction during and after service delivery;

• Manage hiring, training, staff allocation, scheduling, and performance evaluations of the sales team;

• Mentor the sales representative by promoting reactive and proactive sales efforts.

• At least five (5) years of sales experience in the hotel industry;

• Customer service skills;

• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills;

• Knowledge of French and English. Proficiency in other languages is an asset;

• Familiarity with basic management principles and computer systems such as Maestro and Maximizer.

• Knowledge related to market analysis, customer analysis, distribution networks, advertising, and social media.

• Ability to communicate in both French and English.
