We are looking for an experienced Senior UI Software Engineer to work on our Onboarding and Lifecycle Management (LCM) Platform team with focus on enhancing and managing services for importing, syncing and provisioning identities and access policies i.e., users, groups, roles, entitlements, etc. These features allow customers the flexibility to link and enhance their business processes with Okta's identity management product. This role is to build, design solutions, and maintain our platform for scale. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience building software systems to manage and deploy reliable and performant infrastructure and product code at scale on a cloud infrastructure.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop new features in variety of web technologies and writing effective tests
• Migrate our identity management product UI to the modern framework based on ReactJS
• Partner with our Product Development, Designer, and QA teams for scoping the development and deployment work
• Provide support and handle incoming bugs and customer reported issues
• Conduct quality code reviews and automated testings
• Provide support and maintenance the existing code base
• Provide technical guidance, assistance and mentorship to the team and other engineers

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• The ideal candidate is someone who have 3+ years of experience building web applications
• Strong knowledge of Javascript (ES6), CSS, CSS3, SASS, HTML5, Typescript
• Solid experience in one of the major frameworks (Backbone, Angular, ReactJS etc), preferably with experience of ReactJS and Redux
• Experience building large-scale single-page web applications and micro-frontend
• Experience with modern frameworks like Node.js and Express.js
• Experience with OpenID and Oauth is a plus
• Having backend experience to build REST API or Apollo GraphQL is a plus.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot is huge plus

Education

• B.S. Computer Science or equivalent

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:$114,000—$172,000 CAD
