Job Summary

We are seeking a senior hands-on software engineer to enhance and support core integration platforms within a Microsoft ecosystem. The successful candidate will specialize in integration systems, APIs, event services, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps within an existing Azure, BizTalk, and .NET environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Enhancement & Engineering: Execute hands-on engineering tasks to maintain, enhance, and scale integration platforms according to industry best practices and organizational standards.
• System Architecture & Design: Design and develop information systems, APIs, event services, and integration platform technologies within a Microsoft-centric ecosystem.
• Technical Guidance & Advisory: Review system models, specifications, diagrams, and architecture charts to provide direction on APIs, integration patterns, and DevOps implementations.
• Standards & Governance: Establish and refine engineering standards and operational processes for coding, testing, deployment, and governance.
• Operational & Technical Support: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex tier-3 technical support issues while managing solution lifecycles.
• Platform Security & Performance: Ensure high availability, peak performance, and enterprise-grade security across all integration services and platforms.

Mandatory Requirements

• Overall Engineering Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including at least 4+ years specifically in integration platform engineering.
• API Development: Minimum 5+ years of experience building integration technologies, such as APIs.
• Azure & DevOps Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of proven, hands-on, expert-level experience building Azure integrations (including Azure Functions) and utilizing Azure DevOps.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience authoring enterprise-grade Terraform or Bicep modules.
• DevSecOps & Version Control: Minimum 4+ years of DevSecOps experience, particularly within Azure DevOps, with demonstrated mastery of Git and branching strategies such as GitHub Flow.

Rated Requirements & Technical Competencies

• Azure & .NET Troubleshooting: Azure certifications paired with concrete examples of diagnosing and resolving complex .NET technical problems.
• Automated Security Controls: Proven experience embedding automated security controls, policy-as-code, and automated exception handling directly into integration platforms.
• Platform Automation: Demonstrated history of developing Azure platform infrastructure automation in Microsoft-centric environments.
• AI Integration: Proven experience leveraging artificial intelligence tools or patterns within an integration software engineering context.
• Hybrid Integration Ecosystems: Deep functional knowledge of Azure Functions, C#, BizTalk, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and hybrid Azure/on-premises integration scenarios.
• Engineering Toolkit Proficiency: Practical experience using tools such as draw.io, Postman Enterprise, Azure Storage Explorer, and GitHub Copilot.
