Client Care Specialist and Accounts Receivable

Job Responsibility:

TD Equine Veterinary Group is looking for a full-time Client Care Specialist to join our team! We are a multi-doctor ambulatory practice based just south of Calgary with a focus on performance horses. Our clientele consists of high-level competition horses, foals to retired seniors and everything in between. We are looking for a positive, mature, self-motivated team player with strong communication & customer service skills. Main duties include client communications, accounts receivable, answering the phones & emails, scheduling appointments, invoicing and other administrative duties. Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. We offer competitive wages, health benefits & staff discounts. Significant experience with horses and in the equine industry is a requirement. Previous accounts receivable experience, practical knowledge of common procedures and equine terminology are all considered assets and would prioritize your application.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Answering client phone calls and emails
• Accounts receivable management including phone calls and emailing clients with outstanding accounts
• Entering new client accounts and patients into HVMS (Veterinary Clinic Software)
• Booking appointments and ensuring complete and accurate information is in the appointment and client account
• Effectively communicating with other staff, doctors and clients
• Emailing invoices, sending out monthly statements
• Accepting payments over the phone and in person, and posting payments in HVMS

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
