Our client, a luxurious spa and wellness center located in Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA , is seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Spa Operations & Client Experience. This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of all spa services, ensuring exceptional operational efficiency and unparalleled client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of spa operations, including staff management, scheduling, inventory control, and financial performance.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of spa professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Design and refine spa menus, treatment protocols, and service offerings to meet evolving client needs and market trends.
• Ensure the delivery of consistently outstanding client experiences from arrival to departure.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and maintain optimal inventory levels for spa products and supplies.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to uphold the highest standards of service and hygiene.
• Develop and manage the spa's annual budget, controlling costs and maximizing financial returns.
• Oversee marketing and promotional activities for the spa, collaborating with the marketing team.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, innovations, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in spa management, with a proven track record of success.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Expertise in client relationship management and service excellence principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of spa treatments, products, and wellness industry trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in spa management software and operational systems.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and evolving market.
• Experience within the Kimberley region is an advantage.
