This dynamic role will focus on developing SCSS programming and maintaining the quality as well as recruiting and retaining the right people. This role will require extensive people skills as you will be working with multiple SCSS stakeholders and a variety of age groups. Want to make a difference in your community? Join SCSS!

Responsibilities include:

• Develop a recruitment and retention strategy for Early Years professionals.
• Oversee staff performance and professional development.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and staff to ensure programming adheres to both licensing standards and the Early Learning Framework.
• Develop quality control indicators to be used in all facilities.
• Ensure the facilities adhere to health and safety protocols.
• Regularly check safety equipment and address hazards.
• Create and manage all facility budgets with program managers.
• Develop a marketing plan to promote SCSS childcare services.
• Work in collaboration with program stakeholders such as parents and local partners.

Qualifications:

• Valid ECE Certification
• Valid First Aid Certification
• Valid Food Safe Certification
• 5 years of progressive management experience
• CRC for working vulnerable children and adults.
