Split-Shift Educator for School-Age Kids

Become a Qualified Split-Shift Educator and create a nurturing space for school-age children. Engage in dynamic activities that empower children's independence and well-being throughout their school day. In this francophone role, you will actively supervise and ensure the safety of children during both morning and afternoon shifts. Collaborate with the childcare team to plan age-appropriate, interest-based activities, fostering positive relationships and a welcoming environment. This position is perfect for passionate individuals who enjoy supporting children's development and well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide active supervision and ensure children's safety
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Create an inclusive environment encouraging exploration
- Build respectful relationships with children and families
- Support children with daily transitions
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing
- Diploma in Child and Youth Care or equivalent qualification
- Teacher in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Experience working with school-age children
- Positive guidance strategies for social skills development
