This hybrid role offers flexibility and the chance to enhance hiring initiatives and HRIS processes. This position is for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist located in Vancouver or Nanaimo, BC, requiring two onsite days weekly. You will drive full-cycle recruitment for corporate and operational roles, helping to shape talent acquisition strategies. Collaborate with HR and hiring leaders for effective recruitment in a newly unionized environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for diverse positions
- Partner with leaders to enhance sourcing strategies
- Manage candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offers
- Build talent pipelines for immediate and future needs
- Support recruitment improvements and HRIS projects
- 5+ years in progressive talent acquisition
- Experience in corporate and operational recruitment
- Preferred experience in marine industry recruitment
- Unionized environment recruitment experience strongly preferred
- Strong relationship-building and time management skills
