Paid Training for Personal Support Workers

Initially comprising five weeks of paid learning, candidates will then engage in part-time work to apply their new skills. • Attend 5-week PAID PSW training sessions
• Engage in part-time community support work
• Complete virtual learning and practical skill labs
• Execute personal care and general support activities
• Identify and address safety concerns promptly

Requirements:

• Valid G or G2 driver’s license required
• Must have a reliable vehicle for patient needs
• Standard First Aid and CPR certificate due on Day 1
• Proof of immunizations and recent tuberculosis test
• Clear police check required upon offer
