North American Corporate Controller Role Vaughan

Lead North American financial consolidations as the Corporate Controller in Vaughan with our global construction client. The position emphasizes collaboration with various finance team members and compliance oversight. Our client, a prominent multi‑entity organization, seeks an experienced Corporate Controller to manage the consolidation process across multiple operating units in Canada and the US.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting corporate purchasing efforts and ensuring compliance with IFRS regulations. Solid partnerships with business unit controllers and finance directors will be key to your success in this in‑office position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage consolidation for 10+ North American entities
- Support corporate purchasing and overhead initiatives
- Collaborate with finance directors and unit controllers
- Oversee compliance with IFRS and indirect tax
- Coordinate with external auditors for financial reviews
Requirements
- CPA with a minimum of 8 years' experience
- At least 3 years in a leadership position
- Expertise in IFRS 16 intercompany accounting
- Experience in shared services or corporate headquarters
- Background in construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors
Drive financial operations as a key leader in your field, handling essential consolidations.
