Renewable Energy Construction Superintendent

Lead renewable energy construction across Eastern Canada with safety leadership and turbine project coordination at Bird, a Canadian construction company.

As Superintendent, Renewables, you will support wind energy projects while coordinating civil, electrical, and balance-of-plant activities. The work requires planning, subcontractor management, schedule monitoring, and field leadership. You will help deliver turbine foundations, roads, substations, and installation readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Bird Safety Program across field operations
• Coordinate foundations, roads, substations, and collector systems
• Develop work plans and monitor project schedule progress
• Coordinate turbine deliveries, heavy lifts, and commissioning readiness
• Lead site teams through feedback, training, and coaching

Requirements:

• Superintendent experience in renewable, power, industrial, or heavy civil construction
• Strong understanding of civil construction and electrical infrastructure
• Experience managing subcontractors, crews, equipment, and work fronts
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites
