The Opportunity

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams to ensure each project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Managing projects from award through construction and closeout
• Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules and work plans
• Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts and scopes of work
• Leading project meetings and providing clear, professional communication
• Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement and project documentation
• Monitoring project costs, commitments, forecasts and overall financial performance
• Working closely with site supervision to plan and coordinate construction activities
• Identifying risks early and developing practical solutions
• Ensuring quality, safety and contractual requirements are consistently maintained
• Building strong relationships with clients and project partners
• Supporting successful project turnover, deficiency completion and closeout

What You Bring

• At least five years of construction project management experience
• Experience working for a General Contractor or within a similar construction environment
• The ability to manage small, medium or large projects with confidence
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, contracts and project controls
• Excellent organization, communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to balance multiple priorities while keeping projects moving forward
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to challenges
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to bring teams together
• Experience with restoration, renovation or complex occupied-space projects would be considered an asset
• A diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field would be an asset
