Prime Contract Manager For Waha Project Toronto

Take your career to the next level as a Prime Contract Manager in the WAHA Redevelopment Project. This role, located in Toronto, involves managing contracts for a state‑of‑the‑art healthcare facility in Moosonee, Ontario. As the Project Lawyer, you will work closely with a diverse project team to oversee complex contractual obligations and ensure compliance with all stakeholders.
Your negotiation skills will play a vital role in drafting agreements, managing disputes, and ensuring contractual clarity across departments involved in the $1.8 billion initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage execution of main and subcontract agreements.
- Engage with clients and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contractual correspondence.
- Supervise compliance with change order processes.
- Manage and resolve formal disputes and claims.
Requirements
- Law degree with licensing in Ontario.
- 3+ years of legal experience, 5+ years in construction.
- Familiarity with alternative contractual models.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- Capacity to work autonomously under tight deadlines.
