Computer Programmer (Odoo Specialist)

Job Responsibility:

Basha Foods International & Western Fine Meats is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Computer Programmer with a specialization in Odoo to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to play a key role in optimizing and expanding our business operations through custom Odoo development and integration.

Location: Calgary, AB

Salary: $55,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules and applications to meet specific business requirements.
• Integrate Odoo with existing internal and external systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Odoo-related issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform data migration, upgrades, and system configurations within Odoo.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Odoo customizations and integrations.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the stability and performance of Odoo solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo versions, features, and best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to deployment and support.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Computer Programmer with a strong focus on Odoo development and customization.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• In-depth knowledge of Odoo architecture, modules (e.g., Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing), and APIs.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML).
• Strong understanding of business processes and how they can be effectively mapped to Odoo functionalities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
