Industrial Hygiene Superintendent Blackwater Mine

Lead the Industrial Hygiene program at Blackwater Mine as a Superintendent. You'll champion health standards and oversee a crucial compliance program on a rotational schedule. Reporting to the Manager of Health, Safety & Security, this leadership role requires strong skills in occupational hygiene and exposure monitoring. You will develop and implement programs, lead a team, and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. The position emphasizes the importance of strategic direction in managing workplace health hazards effectively. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the industrial hygiene program and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct occupational hygiene risk and exposure assessments.
• Manage workplace exposure monitoring and data reporting.
• Develop and oversee air quality and ventilation assessments.
• Mentor and develop Occupational Hygiene personnel. Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Hygiene or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial hygiene experience required.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in health programs.
• Strong knowledge of exposure assessment methodologies.
• Valid driver's license necessary. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring health and safety at Blackwater Mine.
