Responsibilities for Casual Healthcare Security Guard

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of hospital premises
• Perform one-on-one patient watch assignments
• Support patient safety and maintain a secure environment
• Control access points and verify identification
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
• Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations
• Assist hospital staff, patients, and visitors
• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports

Qualifications for Casual Healthcare Security Guard

• • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid Alberta Security Services License
  • First Aid/CPR certification required
  • Flexible availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous healthcare security experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
