General Manager, Environmental Services (EVS) Healthcare

 
Aramark is growing in Calgary, and we’re looking for experienced healthcare leaders to grow with us.
As we continue to strengthen our healthcare operations in the region, we’re looking to connect with an experienced General Manager, Environmental Services who brings strong leadership experience within an acute healthcare environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on operational leader who understands the complexities of healthcare cleaning, can lead and develop large frontline teams, and is committed to delivering safe, clean and welcoming environments for patients, visitors and healthcare teams.

 

What You’ll Do

• Lead Environmental Services operations within a complex healthcare environment
• Provide leadership, coaching and development to EVS managers, supervisors and frontline teams
• Drive high standards for healthcare cleaning, sanitation, quality and safety
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with healthcare and client stakeholders
• Manage staffing, labour, budgets and overall operational performance
• Monitor service delivery and drive continuous improvement
• Foster a culture of accountability, employee engagement and exceptional service
• Ensure compliance with applicable organizational, client and regulatory standards

 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Environmental Services leadership experience in acute healthcare
• Proven experience leading large frontline teams and developing operational leaders
• Strong knowledge of healthcare cleaning practices, infection prevention principles and quality standards
• Demonstrated client and stakeholder relationship management skills
• Experience managing budgets, labour and operational performance
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead effectively in a complex, fast-paced healthcare environment
• Familiarity with Infection Prevention standards and best practices and systems used to control patient flow in acute care hospitals would be an asset

The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 - $100,000.00.
