Permanent Diagnostic Radiologist Kelowna
KELOWNA GENERAL HOSPITAL
Join the team at Kelowna General Hospital as a permanent Diagnostic Radiologist in BC. Leverage your fellowship training to perform advanced imaging procedures and outpatient services. As a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist, you will collaborate with 16 specialists in a state-of-the-art facility. With access to four CT scanners and two cutting-edge MRI units, you'll enhance your skills in diverse procedures, including image-guided biopsies. This role supports home reporting and requires fellowship training under the Royal College. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various imaging procedures including X-ray and CT
- Provide outpatient services such as diagnostic mammography
- Maintain procedural volume focusing on biopsies and drainages
- Participate in home reporting and rotations
- Collaborate with interventional radiology on complex cases
- Current CPSBC license to practice
- Membership in the CMPA or provisional status
- Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada
- Experience in performing biopsies and drainages
- Commitment to advanced imaging practices
