Job Overview Infrastructure & Capital Projects - Construction Manager, COM Comtech Group Inc. (Comtech), part of Accenture, is a multidisciplinary consulting firm providing integrated solutions for complex capital projects. The role focuses on delivering projects that improve the world around us, ensuring the on‑time and on‑budget completion of construction activities.

Core Responsibilities

Manage and direct project‑specific tasks and duties, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, design documents, quality, safety, and environmental issues.

Oversee daily site inspections and audits, ensuring high‑quality submissions with comprehensive photo and quantity logs.

Review digital infrastructure for construction administration and field operations staff.

Develop and deliver completed analysis of construction progress through meetings, reports, contractor submissions, and schedules.

Support resolution of claims, non‑conformances, or dispute submissions initiated by contractors.

Analyze weekly and monthly KPI reports and distribute to appropriate stakeholders.

Facilitate effective communication with project leaders and internal/external stakeholders on project status, concerns, and actions.

Lead value engineering, constructability, schedule, and documentation development through all project phases.

Supervise team members through orientation, training, and performance management.

Provide technical expertise to achieve performance goals and project objectives.

Engage in meetings with clients, third parties, and managers to assess progress, resolve issues, mitigate risk, and negotiate scope changes.

Outline human and material resources required for project success and define success criteria.

Complete tasks assigned by Construction Management V or higher efficiently and timely.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 12 years of experience in Engineering or Construction.

Bachelor's degree or diploma in an Engineering or Construction Management field.

Holding a recognized certification in the area of specialty.

Bonus points: Civil/Marine background and experience.

Strong knowledge of prevailing construction methods and means.

Expert understanding of applicable construction‑related software.

Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑resource construction teams.

Creative and analytical problem‑solving skills, promoting teamwork and innovation.

Functional acumen to support client goals while aligning with industry best practices.

Proven ability to anticipate, identify, and minimize project risks.

Strong delegation and capacity‑building skills.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation Annual Salary Range: British Columbia $127,000 min to $177,000 max
