Outbound Logistics Business Manager

How You'll Make An Impact

Instead of just managing tasks, you will work as part of a small dedicated team to drive strategy and innovation. As part of this team you will be empowered to steer the performance of our parcel carriers in the USA and Canada, balancing delivery service, cost, and risk.

• Drive Carrier Excellence: Manage and elevate our logistics partners by leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and ensuring they meet and exceed their Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Be a Catalyst for Improvement: Lead the charge in developing and executing improvement actions, both internally and with our external partners, to build a more resilient and efficient network. You'll research issues, perform root cause analyses, and work cross-functionally to prevent them from recurring.
• Innovate with Data and Technology: This role offers the chance to work with complex, previously unsolved problems. You will leverage shipping software, data systems, and analytics to gain deeper insights into our business. You'll also provide project leadership on shipping system initiatives that could involve leveraging AI and predictive analytics to optimize our network.
• Steer High-Stakes Projects: Manage key internal logistics projects, such as implementing new carriers or launching new delivery solutions in collaboration with other Vistaprint teams.
• Ensure Financial and Operational Integrity: You will support regular cost management routines, from budget reviews to invoice reconciliation, and partner with Global Procurement on shipping tenders.

What You Need

You are more than a task manager; you are a strategic thinker and a change agent.

• Post-secondary education in Logistics, Business/Analytics, or a related management field.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing logistics operations and/or external transportation partners, with accountability for service, cost, performance, and continuous improvement
• Comfort with shipping software and experience working with data systems, analytics teams, and development of reporting enhancements to improve insights and visibility into the business.
• Possesses a relentless drive to quantitatively understand the factors influencing logistics service, cost, and risks.
• Experience in the small-parcel carrier industry, co-creating solutions with carrier partners.
• Is comfortable working with shipping software and data systems, and collaborating with analytics teams to enhance business visibility.
• Has proven experience in a project environment with deep knowledge of problem-solving
• Is an excellent communicator, both written and oral, capable of presenting complex information to various stakeholders.
• Brings tenacity, energy, and leadership experience to drive meaningful change in a dynamic environment.

Compensation

Canada Target Hiring Range: $88,000.00 - $121,000.00 Per Year

Vista is committed to transparent and competitive compensation. In alignment with our compensation philosophy, the target hiring range is based on total cash compensation. The actual salary offered will depend on factors such as education, training, and experience. Vista offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, wealth and wellness programs, as well as long-term equity incentives, subject to eligibility.
