The Maintenance Renovation / Projects Person is responsible for completing renovation projects, repairs, preventative maintenance, and general construction-related duties throughout the hotel property. This position supports the appearance, functionality, and safety of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces while ensuring work is completed efficiently and professionally.
This role requires a hands-on individual with experience in construction, maintenance, and renovation work. Duties may vary daily. QualificationsExperience in building maintenance, renovations, construction, or related trades preferred
Knowledge of drywall, painting, flooring, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organizational and time management skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
WHMIS or safety training considered an asset
Valid drivers license considered an asset
