Project Coordinator & Estimator

Interwest Mechanical is seeking a detail oriented Project Coordinator & Estimator to support our commercial mechanical projects. This role combines estimating, coordination, and administrative support to help ensure accurate bids and efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities:  
Review drawings, specs, and tender documents to prepare mechanical estimates.
Complete material takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and review supplier and subcontractor quotes.
Assist with bid submissions, proposals, and pricing updates.
Support project managers with scheduling, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Track project progress, deliveries, and subcontractor coordination.
Maintain organized project files, logs, and communication between office and field teams.
Assist with closeout documents, O&M manuals, and warranty packages.

Qualifications:  
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field is an asset
Experience in mechanical contracting, estimating, or construction coordination is an asset.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand plumbing/HVAC systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; estimating software experience is an asset.
Valid drivers license; occasional jobsite visits required.
