Philanthropic Engagement Director at Compassion Canada

Drive Compassion Canada's mission as the Philanthropic Engagement Director. Lead strategic fundraising initiatives while cultivating deep relationships with donors and partners worldwide.
This vital role involves managing fundraising professionals and implementing effective engagement strategies to maximize philanthropic investments. Working closely with the Partner Relations Leadership Team, you will focus on achieving revenue targets through major gifts and corporate partnerships. Your leadership will enhance donor experiences, fostering generosity and long-term commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish strategies to achieve fundraising KPIs
• Coach and develop the Philanthropic Engagement Team
• Identify and pursue diverse giving opportunities
• Monitor philanthropic trends and adapt strategies
• Ensure diligence in donor engagement and documentation
Requirements:
• At least seven years of experience in fundraising
• Proven track record in leading successful teams
• Strong grasp of Canadian fundraising laws
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with CRM systems for donor management
