Estimating Leader for Major ICI Projects

Lead estimating for ICI builds with a well-known General Contractor in Ottawa. This crucial role demands strategic oversight and expertise in managing complex bids and partnerships. As a Senior Estimator reporting to the VP, you will steer the estimating department towards success by securing potential opportunities and facilitating effective communication with stakeholders. Your experience in managing bids for major projects will be vital in achieving the company’s growth objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend effective tender strategies and approaches
- Build long-lasting partnerships with project stakeholders
- Assess and qualify new bidding opportunities
- Analyze risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage all aspects of estimating and tender closures
- At least 8 years in estimating or senior roles
- Degree in engineering or related certification
- Proven experience with projects up to $100 million
- Knowledge in estimating for LEED projects
- Familiar with estimating software and MS Office
