The purpose of this position is to support the coordination of French programs and administration, targeted Bilingual recruitment and French proficiency evaluations and other key priorities. The position collaborates and provides support to the Manager of French Language Services and the Bilingual Recruitment Coordinator under the guidance of the Manager of French Language Services.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Respond to inquiries over the telephone or email and in person regarding French Language Training Program and French Oral Proficiency Evaluations.
• Collaborate with Bilingual Learning and Development Officer in maintaining records in PeopleSoft regarding French Language Training Program and French Oral Proficiency Evaluations.
• Assist in developing, collecting, analyzing and reporting on evaluations for the French Language Training Program (participant, stakeholder surveys, QuestionPro, etc.).
• Provide support to the Manager of French Language Services in the promotion and tracking of the Active Offer Training Program.
• Coordinate the registration process for the Babbel App by entering employee information into PeopleSoft, issuing Babbel licenses, running Babbel reports, and monitoring usage.
• Support the maintenance of French webpages managed by the PSC.
• Prepare internal and external invoices for payment processing.
• Support Bilingual Recruitment Coordinator in attending job fairs at francophone post-secondary institutions and other job fairs to promote designated bilingual opportunities.
• Support Bilingual Recruitment Coordinator with managing applications for bilingual positions.
• Support the Staffing, Classification, and Organizational Development division with various projects as needed; Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A post-secondary diploma in a related field. HR training would be considered an asset.
• Related experiences required (e.g. coordinating learning sessions and programs, data analysis and reporting.)
• Experience in communication is required.
• Experience working with Microsoft office and PeopleSoft is required.
• Demonstrated equivalencies will be considered.
• Excellent organizational skills and written communication skills are essential as well as the ability to pay close attention to detail while working under tight timelines in a very busy office environment.
• Bilingualism is required.
• Knowledge of the Acadian and Francophone Community of PEI.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience working with Drupal would be considered an asset.
• Experience or course in adult learning would be considered an asset.
• Experience with Oracle would be considered an asset.
