Role Description



As a Senior HR Generalist, you will serve as a trusted HR partner supporting leaders and employees across multiple business functions within the organization. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support, including employee relations, performance management, manager coaching, workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, onboarding, and organizational development initiatives. You will play a key role in delivering practical, people-focused solutions that align with business objectives while promoting HR best practices and fostering a positive employee experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic People Initiatives: Support the HR team in preparing the organization for the future by contributing to the implementation of strategic people initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, talent management, and modernization of HR practices.
• Day-to-Day HR Partnership and Manager Coaching: Lead day-to-day HR partnership with managers and employees by providing practical guidance through employee lifecycle processes, including employee relations, performance management support, manager coaching, complex people issues, organizational planning, retention, and strategic growth.
• Supporting the Business with Analytics: Partner with the business and HR team to provide insights and actions supported by people measures and analytics. Assist in analyzing the impact of HR practices and identifying opportunities to improve people programs and business outcomes.
• Workforce Planning: Partner with leaders and the HR Director to support workforce planning that aligns people capabilities with current and future business needs. Contribute to assessing team structures, roles, and talent requirements, and provide practical HR guidance to support organizational effectiveness, succession readiness, and sustainable growth.
• Employee Connection and Engagement: Support initiatives that strengthen employee connection and engagement across the organization. Partner with leaders to foster a positive employee experience through meaningful communication, engagement activities, and people practices that reinforce culture and build trust.
• HR Program Support, Onboarding and Process Implementation: Collaborate with the HR team to support strong customer service in recruitment, retention, employee relations, onboarding oversight, and HR program delivery. Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, processes, and best practices, while supporting the implementation of consistent and effective HR processes.

You bring strong business acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational HR support. Your experience partnering with leaders, navigating complex people matters, and driving organizational effectiveness allows you to make an immediate impact while supporting a positive employee experience across the organization.



Qualifications include:

• Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline;
• CPHR designation completed or currently in progress;
• 5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a generalist, advisor, business partner, or similar capacity;
• Experience working within a corporate, multi-site, or geographically dispersed organization;
• Demonstrated experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching initiatives;
• Knowledge of workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, and organizational development practices;
• Experience utilizing HRIS systems and workforce analytics to support decision-making is considered an asset;
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills;
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
