Transfer Specialist

Hub Financial, a division of HUB International, is one of Canada’s largest independent Managing General Agencies (MGA) specializing in life insurance, investments, and wealth management. We provide independent financial advisors with tools and resources to help their business succeed.

Locations: Woodbridge, ON; Vancouver, BC; Calgary, AB; Winnipeg, MB; Montreal, QC.

About the Role

• Process advisor Buy/Sell agreements on block transfers and Reassignments to ensure full servicing and commission changes reflecting the advisor and MGA changes.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with insurance companies and partner with them to facilitate timely processing of transfer requests.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date broker and block transfer information in WealthServ.
• Follow up consistently with carriers to ensure transfer requests are completed within the required timelines.
• Obtain client listings from insurance companies as required to complete investigations or block transfers.
• Prepare and submit transfer forms to brokers and insurance companies.
• Support transfer investigations and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Participate in project work.

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel and most online meeting platforms.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or MGA operations is an asset.
• Experience in contracting and block transfers is an asset.
• Experience using APEXA and WealthServ is an asset.

Compensation: $45,000 to $50,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and location.
