Assistant Dispatcher

This position works with our Last Mile (Delivery) team to bring our meals across Canada. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, passionate about logistics, able to learn fast, and has a knack for working on a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist delivery drivers on delivery days with issues (ex. customer not responding, address location issues, missed deliveries).
• Comfortable contacting customers directly regarding orders
• Work with Last Mile team for driver & customer experience improvements.
• Update multiple platforms as needed with driver information

Qualifications:

• Quick learner
• Great attention to detail
• Organized
• Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
• Enjoys working with a team
• Thrives under pressure: ability to adjust your frame of thinking and quickly change priorities without getting flustered
• Comfortable with multi-tasking: (handle multiple requests at once from drivers with issues about deliveries)
• Experience using Google Sheets is considered an asset
• Experience using On Fleet software is considered an asset
• Experience using Slack is considered an asset
• Dispatching experience is considered an asset

Schedule:

• Part-time hours (approximately 16 to 20 hours per week)
• Sunday: 8 AM to 4 PM. *Subject to change depending on last delivery and location of delivery
• Monday: 8 AM to 4 PM. *Subject to change depending on last delivery and location of delivery
• Opportunity for more hours or days as business grows

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
