TheRentalGuys.ca , Calgary’s locally owned and operated equipment rental company, is growing — and we’re looking for a  Dispatcher / Rental Coordinator to join our team! Available shift is 4X10 Hour days Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10 hours each day. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are days off.

  What You’ll Be Doing:

• Answering incoming calls and coordinating communication with customers, drivers, and office staff.
• Developing and optimizing dispatch plans to improve fleet turnover and control operational costs.
• Communicating clearly through phone, email, and radio to ensure seamless operations.
• Coordinating with our shop team to ensure equipment is ready for delivery.
• Planning, updating, and adjusting routes for maximum delivery efficiency throughout the day.
• Verifying customer information and delivery details for accurate dispatching.
• Reporting any incidents from drivers to the General Manager right away.
• Coordinating ETAs and delivery specifics with customers in real-time.
• Monitoring driver locations using MyGEOTab for accurate and timely updates.
• Understanding equipment weight limits and truck capacities to properly assign routes.
• Maintaining detailed records of all dispatch activities, calls, and driver communications.
• Monitoring driver logs to ensure compliance with safety and operational regulations.
• Keeping your workspace clean, organized, and professional.

✅  What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable transportation to and from our SE Calgary location.
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay cool under pressure.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal & written).
• Previous dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management and adaptability.
