Senior Team Lead in Transmission Engineering

Stantec is seeking a Senior Team Lead in Transmission Engineering to guide a growing team in Ontario. This role emphasizes leadership, technical expertise, and the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the transmission design team, ensuring that engineering practices align with quality and regulatory standards. Your leadership will drive team performance, project management, and client relations while providing the necessary technical mentorship and guidance. Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to impact exciting transmission line projects across various phases of development. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct a team of Transmission Line Engineers
- Mentor team members in technical and professional growth
- Conduct quality audits on designs and execute improvement plans
- Ensure compliance with all design industry standards
- Support project managers in delivering quality outcomes
- 10+ years in power transmission line design
- Engineering degree and registration with provincial association
- Proficient with PLS software and industry standards
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of North American utility practices
