Become a Screening Mammography Technologist at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. Perform routine mammography procedures while ensuring top-notch patient care and high imaging quality. This role requires certification with CAMRT and a minimum of one year recent experience in Mammography procedures. As a vital team member, you’ll not only produce and develop mammograms but also prepare participants and promote education on breast cancer. Your contributions help maintain a quality-focused work environment and ensure optimal patient experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients by explaining mammography procedures
- Produce and develop mammograms per program standards
- Assist participants with questionnaires before leaving
- Educate on breast cancer and self-examination practices
- Maintain equipment and manage designated work areas
- CAMRT certification and Mammography 1 completion
- Minimum one year related experience in Mammography
- Strong communication skills with patients and colleagues
- Ability to manage workflows and priorities
- Knowledge of PACS and Radiology Information Systems
