Role Overview: As a Product Merchandising Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the presentation and positioning of our products, both physically and digitally. This role involves configuring products, maintaining product data, and ensuring all merchandising activities meet our standards and objectives. If you have a knack for organization, a keen eye for detail, and a flair for creativity, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure products in internal systems, noting all details such as weight, dimensions, contents, and commodity information.
- Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for assembly items.
- Develop and coordinate product SKUs and UPCs, ensuring consistency and legibility.
- Collaborate with the design team for product graphic design.
- Oversee packaging design to ensure it meets aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and manage product photography, including reviewing, editing, and organizing photos.
- Write and edit product descriptions for the company website, external marketplaces, and wholesale customers.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and consistency in product merchandising efforts.
What We're Looking For:
- 2-3 years of experience in a relevant role, but we're open to those who can demonstrate the right technical and creative skills.
- Motivated self-starter
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in product management software and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience working with design teams is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Excellent ability to work independently within a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
