As a Mortgage Business Development Manager at LendingHub.ca, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth and establishing strong relationships within the mortgage industry. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, and contribute to the expansion of our mortgage portfolio.
- Deliver persuasive presentations to prospective agents, clearly articulating the benefits of joining forces with our mortgage team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and industry partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Provide comprehensive weekly training sessions to mortgage agents and brokers, ensuring they are equipped with the latest industry knowledge, product information, and sales techniques.
- Stay breast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including underwriting, legal, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of mortgage transactions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
- Proven track record of successful business development and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and nurture professional relationships.
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service to clients.
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools used in the mortgage industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel
