Experience and Competencies
- Minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience within the property and casualty insurance industry
- Minimum of ten (10) years of insurance industry experience, including completion of the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
- Proven leadership abilities with a collaborative and supportive management style; empathetic, motivating, and team-oriented
- Demonstrated passion for community involvement and relationship-building
- Strong analytical, financial, and quantitative reasoning skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision and strategy into actionable results
- Sound critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities to support elective and timely decision making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build open and transparent relationships with staff, stakeholders, and the Board of Directors
- Commitment to the values of mutuality, service excellence, and long‑term organizational sustainability
Education
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Insurance Professional designation (CIP or FCIP)
