How does your role contribute to the mission?
As the Financial Controller , you will be responsible for ensuring the financial stability and growth of the company by providing accurate reporting, financial insights, and strategic planning . Your work will directly impact profitability, cost management, and investment decisions , helping us scale effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess historical financial statements and our current financial position.
- Prepare a new chart of accounts to implement QuickBooks by May 1.
- Migrate and transfer financial data as needed to ensure a smooth transition into the new system.
- Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on the profitability of each revenue stream to senior management.
- Develop and oversee the budgeting process for the 2025/2026 fiscal year .
- Prepare financial forecasts (short-term and long-term) to be shared with management, bankers, and potential investors.
- Lead the sourcing of financing to support the company's growth initiatives.
- Review and optimize costs and expenses , identifying areas for savings and efficiency improvements.
- Analyze and assess capital expenditures to determine feasibility and ROI (for expenses exceeding a certain threshold).
- Review company-wide remuneration structures , creating standardized compensation plans , including performance bonuses or incentives that drive both employee motivation and company profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations and tax authorities .
- Prepare year-end financial statements and audit files for external auditors.
- Assist with bookkeeping, payroll, and remittances as needed.
- Advise on financial decisions for senior leadership, including debt management and investment planning .
- Support additional financial projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

En tant que Contrôleur Financier , vous serez responsable de garantir la stabilité financière et la croissance de l'entreprise en fournissant des rapports précis, des analyses financières et une planification stratégique. Votre travail aura un impact direct sur la rentabilité, la gestion des coûts et les décisions d'investissement, nous aidant ainsi à évoluer efficacement.
Responsabilités principales :
- Analyser et évaluer les états financiers historiques ainsi que la situation financière actuelle de l'entreprise.
- Préparer un nouveau plan comptable afin d'implémenter QuickBooks d'ici le 1er mai.
- Migrer et transférer les données financières pour assurer une transition fluide vers le nouveau système.
- Fournir des analyses et des rapports continus sur la rentabilité de chaque source de revenus à la direction.
- Élaborer et superviser le processus budgétaire pour l'exercice 2025/2026.
- Préparer des prévisions financières (court et long terme) à partager avec la direction, les banquiers et les investisseurs potentiels.
- Diriger la recherche de financements pour soutenir les initiatives de croissance de l'entreprise.
- Examiner et optimiser les coûts et les dépenses en identifiant les opportunités d'économies et d'amélioration de l'efficacité.
- Analyser et évaluer les dépenses d'investissement pour déterminer leur faisabilité et leur retour sur investissement (pour les montants dépassant un certain seuil).
- Examiner les structures de rémunération de l'entreprise et élaborer des plans de compensation standardisés, incluant des primes de performance ou des incitatifs qui motivent les employés tout en améliorant la rentabilité de l'entreprise.
- Assurer la conformité avec les réglementations gouvernementales et les obligations fiscales.
- Préparer les états financiers de fin d'année et les dossiers d'audit pour les auditeurs externes.
- Assister dans les tâches de comptabilité, de paie et de remises gouvernementales au besoin.
- Conseiller la direction sur les décisions financières, y compris la gestion des dettes et la planification des investissements.
- Soutenir les projets financiers et les tâches ponctuelles demandées par la direction.
Profil recherché :
- Un professionnel de la finance hautement analytique et soucieux du détail.
- Solide expérience en reporting financier, prévisions et analyse des coûts.
- Expérience avec QuickBooks (ou un logiciel comptable similaire) et la migration de données financières.
