This is Monday-to-Friday, straight shifts, no 3 a.m. wakeup calls for a rotating schedule—just steady, meaningful work with a crew that trusts your call instead of hovering over it. Senior Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Responsibilities

• Lead complex diagnostic and repair work across airframe, engine, and avionics systems on heavy aircraft
• Own the toughest fault-isolation cases and drive them to lasting, root-cause solutions
• Service, calibrate, and certify air data, navigation, autopilot, and communications systems
• Direct structural repairs, including composites, aluminum, and corrosion remediation
• Sign off maintenance releases and ensure full compliance with Transport Canada and company standards
• Mentor junior and apprentice AMEs on the floor, reviewing their work and building their skills
• Coordinate closely with crew and planning teams to keep turnaround times tight and predictable
• Respond to AOG situations with speed and sound judgment under pressure

Senior Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, with a strong track record on heavy aircraft
• Type endorsement or substantial hands-on experience on Boeing 737, Airbus A320, or major regional jet platforms (CRJ900, Dash 8 Q400, etc.)
• Transport Canada AME license required – category M (Mechanical), E (Avionics), or S (Structures)
• Bachelor's degree in Avionics, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering an asset, not required
• Deep familiarity with avionics test equipment: air data, navigation, pneumatic, and autopilot systems
• Proven ability to lead troubleshooting on complex, multi-system faults
• Comfortable mentoring less experienced technicians and reviewing their work
• Ability to provide 2–3 professional references
• Available Monday through Friday for straight minimum 40-hour workweeks, with flexibility for morning or afternoon shifts.
• Willing to relocate to Calgary, Alberta
